The Atlantic Seafood Grille within the restaurant offers upscale decor with the added bonus of a laid-back menu. Unfortunately, it is only open during the warmer months. The rooftop deck takes you away from it all while you sunbathe. If you need the spa treatment then you will love the Bad Hair Day? Spa, where you can indulge in Aveda-inspired treatments by a specially trained staff.

The Boardwalk Plaza Hotel

The Henlopen Hotel

The Henlopen Hotel is one of the few hotels directly on the ocean. Its ambiance is a bit more laid back than most, but the views are priceless. You can have your wedding on the top floor with views of the Atlantic on three sides and then escape to your honeymoon suite. From your suite you could be lucky enough to glimpse the dolphins playing in the water. Nearby restaurants, walks along the beach and pristine waters make it a trip you'll remember for a lifetime without breaking your budget. The only downside to the Henlopen is that it closes in the winter.
