The Grand Hotel at Mountaineer and Resort
By far the most upscale lodging option in Chester, this casino hotel may not initially appeal to nature lovers, but the hotel does offer more amenities, activities and perks than other lodging options in Chester. Part of the Chester Mountaineer Casino, Race Track and Resort complex, the Grand Hotel at Mountaineer is a relatively new addition to the existing resort and adds an additional 258 rooms (including 20 suites) to the already existing 101 rooms at the resort. Hotel amenities include access to a dozen restaurants, bars, pool, fitness center, spa, casino, gaming area and race tracks. In-room amenities include cable TV, coffee maker, hair dryer and safety box.

The Comfort Inn at East Liverpool
Although technically located in East Liverpool, Ohio, the Comfort Inn at East Liverpool is only a fifteen minute drive from downtown Chester and even closer to state parks and attractions than lodging options in Chester. The Comfort Inn is a good chain option for those requiring something more upscale than a motel but less ritzy than the Grand Hotel at Mountaineer. In-room amenities include free WiFi, coffee maker, safety box and cable TV. Hotel amenities include exercise room, indoor heated pool, complimentary continental breakfast and free coffee all day long.

Andrews Motel
Except for its attractive location on the Ohio River, there's nothing particularly fancy or memorable about the Andrews Motel. Rooms are a bit dim but clean and equipped with a TV. If you're just looking for a convenient place to stay while you explore the nearby surroundings, Andrews Motel is an affordable choice.
