The Backpacker Tour Company offers a number of low-cost tours throughout England, Scotland and Wales specifically designed for backpackers. Tours are limited to small groups to ensure backpackers have a great experience while offering the opportunity to meet other travelers. The company offers one-day guided tours of London, Oxford, Stonehenge, Windsor, Bath and many others. Longer, 4- to 15-day tours depart for destinations such as Devon, Cornwall, Edinburgh and many others. Tour packages include all transportation and guide services. Meals and accommodations are not included in tours that require overnight stays; however, staff members make all reservations for you at the hostel of your choice.

MacBackpackers

If your travels take you north to Scotland, MacBackpackers will certainly have a tour for you. They offer four- to seven-day tours of the Highlands, Loch Ness, Ireland and the Isle of Skye. Tours include all transportation and a guide to escort you along the way. Costs for accommodations and food are not included in the tour packages; however, MacBackpackers staff members will make all reservations for you at the hostel of your choice. Daily supermarket stops are made if you decide to cook your own food at the hostel. All tours depart from Edinburgh and are designed for groups ranging in age from 17 to 35.

Backpacker Bus

The Backpacker Bus provides more bare-bones trips. They offer unguided day trips, all departing from Oxford, to Stonehenge, Stratford, Cotswolds, Avebury and Salisbury. The goal of Backpacker Bus is to offer low-cost transportation to backpackers while providing a fun social atmosphere to meet other people and discover new places. Tours depart from Oxpens Coach Park on Oxpens Road every Tuesday and Thursday. Backpacker Bus tours include transportation only.
