La Crepe Michel

La Crepe Michel is a rustic French eatery located in Old Town, Albuquerque. This casual café serves classic appetizers, salads, crepes, of course, and five entrees that change daily. Both the place and food are unpretentious, focused on country classics, and feature many familiar options like Nicoise salads, Escargot, Boeuf Bourguignon and Saumon au Champagne. To round out the authentic vibe, the place comes complete with French-speaking waiters and kitchen staff.

Antiquity Restaurant

Antiquity is a dimly lit, romantic restaurant serving sophisticated food near Old Town, so a good choice for dinner after a day of shopping. The historic building has been preserved to retain some of the qualities of historic Albuquerque, with exposed wood rafters and deep hues of red and burgundy throughout. The menu is primarily focused on seafood and steak---with seven cuts to choose from---and a short dessert menu featuring Crème Brulee and a decadent Chocolate Mousse. Antiquity is one of the pricier options in Albuquerque, but you get what you pay for.

This small, unpretentious café serves some of Albuquerque's most beloved meals. The menu is Franco-New Mexican fusion, focused on seasonal and organic ingredients; the menu changes weekly. All of the food is fresh and homemade---and when the restaurant owners say everything, they mean everything---down to the crackers that come with the soup and all of the condiments. The open kitchen adds to the boisterous and casual atmosphere.

La Quiche Parisienne

La Quiche Parisienne is a small bakery and café serving freshly made breads, pastries, salads and sandwiches. With nearly a dozen variations of quiche and as many sandwich options, this is a great spot to stop in for an early lunch. The restaurant also has a small outpost at Downtown Market, where you can pick up some breakfast or provisions for an afternoon picnic.
