Meadview, a quiet little town in northwestern Arizona, is a mecca for nature lovers. It is near both the Grand Canyon and Lake Mead. In fact, the Hualapai Tribe and Skywalk is only 26 miles away. In addition to hiking and exploring the Grand Canyon, you have your choice of water sports at Lake Mead. Cozy Cabins

Cozy Cabins, in the Meadview RV Park, offers a choice of cabin or bungalow. Each consists of either bunk beds or a futon, microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker, TV, air conditioning and electric heating. Basic toiletries, towels and bed linens are provided. There is a mini-laundromat on site, and the property maintains a strict no-pets policy.

Grand Canyon Ranch

Grand Canyon Ranch offers the quintessential Western experience, offering the opportunity to stay at a working cattle ranch. You have your choice of staying in a pine cabin or in an actual Tipi. You're treated to three square meals a day, a nightly campfire and cowboy song singalong. The cabins offer a double or single bed, fireplace or heater, and shower or bathtub. Larger cabins have the same, but two single beds in the loft. The Tipi has a double bed and a lantern to light your way at night. Tipis are seasonal, available only from March 15th to November 15th, as of November 2009. Also available, at an extra cost, are horseback rides and helicopter tours of the Grand Canyon.

Canyon's End Motel

Canyon's End Motel is a family-friendly property and is minutes from beautiful Lake Mead. The clean rooms offer two double beds and access to an outdoor patio. You may park your boat in front of your room and the motel is a short walk away from Ken's Pizza Plus restaurant.
