Isle of Palms is a city in Charleston County, South Carolina, that rests on the eastern beach front overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. For those looking to spend some time on the beach, the Palms hotel rents out kayaks, sailboats, canoes and windsurfing equipment. Though the hotel has no in-house restaurant, guests are treated to a complimentary breakfast each morning. For lunch and dinner, there are numerous local restaurants located just blocks away from the hotel. Guests who love to shop will like the Palms Hotel's proximity to some of the shopping centers in the Isle of Palms.

Wild Dunes Resort

The Wild Dunes Resort in Isle of Palms has a wide range of rooms, including double, suite, villa and cottage and apartment style abodes. The double rooms and suites rest in the Boardwalk Inn section of the resort and have personal safes, 24-hour room service and flat screen televisions. The villas and cottages, located next door to the Boardwalk Inn, have separate dining, sleeping and living areas, as well as private terraces, but it is the apartment style rooms that offer the most luxury above all, as they come with full kitchens, washers and dryers, private balconies and plasma screen televisions. Whatever room one chooses, all can enjoy the hotel's tennis courts, with optional instructor lessons, and its 36-hole gold course. For those looking for fine dining, the Wild Dunes Resort has two-in house restaurants, one supermarket, a deli and a café and bar.

Seaside Inn

The Seaside Inn is an inexpensive boutique hotel overlooking the Atlantic Ocean on the Isle of Palms. Its 51 rooms are divided into three types: deluxe queen, deluxe king or oceanfront king. While all rooms come with microwaves, full refrigerators, coffee makers and personal air conditioning, only the oceanfront king room comes with separate living and sleeping areas. The hotel aims to accommodate any guest, so for those who are smokers there are a limited number of smoking rooms available upon request. While there is no in-house dining or room service at the Seaside Inn, it is close to many of Isle of Palms restaurants.
