After a day of exploring all of the outdoor activities in Seattle, Washington, it is nice to know that you can go back to your hotel and rest for a while and still find some of the city's restaurants open for business.

Seattle has six hiking trails within an hour's drive from the city. Green Lake Park has a hiking/biking trail that goes around the lake, which is used for boating, windsurfing and swimming, and there are no less than 12 fishing piers in the city. With so much to do, it is nice to know you do not have to cut your day short in order to get a good meal.

Pomodoro Spanish & Italian Restaurant

Pomodoro Spanish & Italian Restaurant is open Tuesday to Thursday, 5:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., Friday to Saturday, 5 p.m. to 1 a.m., and Sunday, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Pomodoro is closed on Monday. The dress code is casual and the atmosphere romantic. The restaurant has free parking, live entertainment and a full bar. The menu features fettuccine con pollo al Jerez, linguine carbonara con pancetta, vitello alla Marsala provimi and pollo alla gorgonzola con pistachio e albicocca. Prices in 2009 range from about $14.95 to $24.95.

Le Pichet

Le Pichet is a French restaurant that is open from 8 a.m. until midnight every night. Parking is free after 5 p.m. in the Pike Place Market Parking Garage, and there is entertainment with no cover charge. The menu features pan-roasted trout filet, sauteed mussels, grilled semi-boneless quail and roasted natural chicken. Prices in 2009 range from about $16 to $34.

Flying Fish has a menu that changes depending on which fish is in season. The menu can change daily, and each dining experience can be unique. The restaurant is open until midnight every night. The menu features seafood bouillabaisse, oven-roasted halibut, banana-leaf-wrapped mahi mahi, crispy duck breast, seared sea scallops, New York steak and buttermilk-fried chicken. Prices in 2009 range from about $22.95 to $33.95.

O'Asian Kitchen

The O'Asian Kitchen is a modern Asian restaurant featuring dishes from many countries. The restaurant is open Monday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 12 midnight. Free parking is available from 5:30 p.m. The menu features strawberry chicken, princess duck, Mongolian beef, lemongrass rack of lamb, salt and pepper pork chop, honey walnut prawns, Alaskan king crab legs and braised tofu. Prices in 2009 range from about $7.95 to $23.95.
