Sand Cay Resort is a Gulf-front condominium-hotel complex with 60 nicely furnished two bedroom units and a choice of garden view, Gulf view, Gulf-front, or poolside lodging. Each unit is more than 1000 square feet and has two bathrooms, a full kitchen, dining and living room area, as well as a patio or balcony. The resort offers great views, beautiful and peaceful white sand beaches, a heated pool, barbecue and picnic area, tennis and shuffleboard. Pier fishing, boating, golf and chartered deep-sea fishing expeditions are all within easy reach of the resort. Rates generally average just over $180 per night in 2009, with only weekly and monthly stays allowed, but discounts of up to 30 percent are being offered during slower periods.

Sun 'n Sea is a spacious property with a collection of one- and two-bedroom cottages and efficiency and suite apartments set on a nice direct Gulf-front lot filled with pine trees. Cottages have screened porches and carports and are all uniquely decorated. The resort is owned by a group of families who purchased the property a generation ago and still vacation here with their children and grandchildren.
