DiMillo's Floating Restaurant
Though not located on an island, DiMillo's Floating Restaurant is an island of its own. The converted car ferry floats off the Portland wharf and rises and falls with the Atlantic tides twice each day. The restaurant has many windows and, since it is surrounded by water, every seat ensures an ocean view. The restaurant is most famous for lobster dishes, but DiMillo's also serves angus beef and Italian cuisine.
