Mt. Maculot View Resort

This resort offers an alternative to the beach resorts Batangas is known for. Mt. Maculot View Resort was originally a private rest house that was converted into a picnic site and swimming resort. Far removed from the beach, this resort comes with different-sized bamboo cottages near the swimming pool facilities, standard air-conditioned rooms and non-AC rooms. The AC rooms cost $43 a day. Guests can do laps in the pools, walk around Cuenca or go mountain trekking at Mount Maculot, which is popular with mountain climbers for its relatively easy trails, wide campgrounds and a spectacular view of Taal Lake. Climbers on an easy pace can get to the summit in two hours.
