Hotels in Bolivia
Bolivia is a remote, land-locked country in South America that offers many attractions for the outdoor enthusiast. From salt-flat deserts to horseback riding in the jungle, Bolivia has a wealth of activities. The capital city of Bolivia is La Paz, which sits at almost 12,000 feet above sea level. It is also famous for Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable body of water on earth. There are many hotel options that come complete with adventure tours and outdoor pursuits.

La Senda Verde

La Senda Verde is a wildlife resort and refuge just two hours away from the capital city of La Paz, nestled in the jungle by a river. The resort offers rustic cabins with fresh organic food made daily, and rescued wildlife including squirrel monkeys, spider monkeys, capuchin monkeys, howler monkeys, and many birds are cared for on the grounds. Volunteers raise the rescued animals in the controlled environment of La Senda Verde for guests to enjoy. The resort also has a pool that looks out over the river and surrounding jungle.
