Located near Devil's Lake State Park, the Wilderness Resort in Wisconsin Dells offers more than 30 different lodging options for guests to enjoy. Recreation

No matter the season, there is plenty for outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy in the Wisconsin Dells. In the winter, guests staying at the Wilderness Resorts can ski the slopes at nearby Cascade Mountain, or explore the miles of cross-country ski trails at Devils Lake State Park. In the summer, the park provides rock climbing along with miles of hiking and mountain bike trails to explore. The neighboring International Crane Foundation provides a glimpse at 15 different crane species. Other outdoor diversions include golf, boating, fishing and swimming.

From a double queen sofa room to a spacious rustic cabin, the Wilderness Resort offers lodging options to fit all budgets and needs. Basic rooms include a microwave, mini refrigerator, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Cabins, villas and condos offer additional amenities. Guests staying at the resort enjoy complimentary access to its water parks and on-site fitness centers. Hardwood forests surround the resort to give guests the opportunity to enjoy wooded views. Resort gift shops provide basic toiletries, first-aid items and bug spray as well as snacks.

The Wilderness Resort provides plenty of on-site recreational activities. Four unique indoor water parks delight guests with a variety of water features. The large, clear-domed wave pool creates a beach-like atmosphere even in the middle of winter, while tube slides, lazy rivers, water play structures and relaxing hot tubs provide something for everyone to enjoy. Other indoor attractions include laser tag, a large play area, game rooms, mini golf, and bumper boats. In the summer, guests can cool off in one of four outdoor water parks, enjoy go-kart racing or experience the rush of a zip-line. Other resort amenities include a nature path, Sundara Spa and Wild Rock Golf Club.

Dining

There are numerous dining options for guests staying at the Wilderness Resort. For fine dining, explore the prime cuts of steak, chops and seafood featured on menu at Fields at the Wilderness or savor the authentic Italian fare at Sarentos. For a kid-friendly breakfast and dinner, enjoy the Old West setting of the Wild Canyon Café. Snacks are available at all water parks to keep the guests' hunger satisfied. Nearby restaurants include the Monk's Bar and Grill and The Cheese Factory Restaurant, which are a short walk from the Wilderness Resort. Room service is available. Pizza delivery is offered by several local pizza establishments.
