Accommodations -- Standard Hotel Rooms and Suites
The Forest Suites Resort offers its guests a choice of a traditional hotel room, a roomy suite, or a specialty suite.
The hotel room is large and offers a choice of a king-size bed or two double beds. The room has a table with two chairs, coffee maker, a 27-inch television and heat and air conditioning.
The one-bedroom suite offers its guests 650 square feet of rest and relaxation. There is a separate bedroom with a king-size bed, and a full kitchen complete with dishes, utensils, and everything necessary to prepare meals. There is also a living room with a sleeper sofa at one end with a dining room table at the other end.
Its two-bedroom suite has a master bedroom with a king-size bed and a second bedroom that contains either a queen or twin-size bed. The full kitchen is complete with everything you need to prepare a meal. The living room has a sofa sleeper to accommodate extra guests. There are two bathrooms in the suite. This suite sleeps five or six people. There is a two night minimum for all suites.
Accommodations -- Specialty Suites
The Forest Suites Resort offers its guests two specialty suites: Emerald Bay Suite and Heavenly Suite.
The Emerald Bay Suite encompasses 1,200 square feet and offers everything you will need to entertain. It has a gourmet kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances. The luxurious dining room offers seating for six with a wet bar. The living room features a gas fireplace, 27-inch television, lounge chairs and sofa sleeper. There is a six-person hot tub and a stereo system for entertainment. The master bedroom includes a king-size bed, and a private bathroom with separate shower and tub. Rates for this suite range from $199 to 379 per night.
The Heavenly Suite offers a great place for a romantic getaway. This suite includes a fully-equipped kitchen and a master bedroom complete with sitting area and queen-sized bed. The bathroom has a jetted tub and separate shower stall. The living room has a sofa sleeper, 27-inch television, stereo system, and DVD with VCR. This suite sleeps four.
Outdoor Activities
Lake Tahoe and Forest Suites Resort offer many warm weather outdoor activities. You can swim in one of the resorts' two pools, hike Mount Tallac or participate in many activities on Lake Tahoe. You can boat, water ski or ride a jet ski. You can take swing a club at one of the many golf clubs, ride a mountain bike or play a game of tennis.
In the winter, you can ski, snowboard or go ice skating. You may also enjoy going snowmobiling or going on a sleigh ride. You can also take a winter cruise on Lake Tahoe.
