Alaska Fishing Cabins

Alaska Fishing Cabins
Alaska offers specialized cabins for fishermen with nearby access to lakes and rivers abundant in salmon, trout, and halibut. A great number of these lodgings are along the Kenai River, the most popular sport fishing destination in the 50th state. However, there are also places to fish in Alaska's interior, as well as the Inside Passage. These cabins usually have a rustic look, but many offer modern conveniences, such as Internet access and in-room phones.

Moose Horn Hollow and Edgewater Lodge

The lodge has four cabins, two on the Kenai River and two on a private two-acre lot across the street. All cabins are walking distance from private fishing frontage, as well as nearby public fishing access. Each is equipped with full kitchens and gas grills for barbecuing. The lodge belongs to fishing expert Mark Glassmaker, who also offers guided trips for visitors on the Kenai, Kasilof, and Cook Inlet.
