Vescio's Originalé
Vescio's serves authentic Italian food in a casual, yet fine, dining atmosphere. D'Amico Kitchen at the Chambers Hotel
D'Amico Kitchen is located in the fabulous Chambers Hotel and boasts contemporary Italian cuisine, with an assortment of appetizers and entrees made from the fine ingredients. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as a wonderful Sunday brunch. For breakfast, you can't go wrong with lemon ricotta pancakes or french toast. For lunch, with dozens of items on the menu, particular local favorites are the mushroom risotto or the smoked trout insalate (salad). The dinner menu includes butternut squash cappelletti and leave room for dessert, as the steamed chocolate spice cake is superb. If you're not feeling like a sit down meal, D'Amico Kitchen even has a bar menu that's a smaller version of the restaurant menu.

Buca di Beppo
Buca di Beppo is a chain Italian restaurant with locations around the United States. The Minneapolis restaurant is just as spectacular as other locations, with an enormous menu offering some of the best Italian food in Minneapolis. Food is served in two portion sizes - small feeds two to three people, and large is enough for six. Buca di Beppo serves lunch and dinner every day, with menus so large it's sometimes hard to choose. For appetizers, the bruschetta and the fried calamari are delicious. Spaghetti with meatballs is a wonderful entree if you need refueling after a few hours boating on the Mississippi River. For dinner, prosciutto stuffed chicken is a local favorite as well as penne San Remo. The restaurant also serves pepperoni pizza, macaroni and cheese and a few other items for kids under 10.
