Grizzly River Run
This attraction's iconic rock peak is visible from most of the park, making it one of California Adventure's most recognizable images. The ride itself allows guests to embark on a tumultuous, wet ride through rocky canyons and steep rapids. Guests who want to enjoy the remainder of their day at the park without dealing with wet clothes might consider purchasing a poncho at one of the park's gift shops before taking the plunge.
Soarin' Over California
Soarin' Over California allows guests to experience the thrill of hang-gliding without the risk. After taking a seat in one of the theater's "gliders," the seats rise in the air, positioning guests in front of, above and below the theater's unique screen. Once you're in the air, your journey begins. Whisking you across the land of California, Soarin' gives you a bird's-eye view and feel of the picturesque California scenes before you.
The Twilight Zone: Tower of Terror
The Twilight Zone: Tower of Terror combine's Disney's knack for storytelling with an innovative attraction that will leave you breathless. Set inside the mysterious and fictitious Hollywood Tower Hotel, guests are invited to take a journey in a service elevator to the 13th floor. Along the way, guests experience hauntings and odd phenomena as Rod Serling narrates the journey. The ride ends with a hair-raising drop from the 13th floor as the doors before you open, allowing you to take one last look at the theme park below.
Toy Story Mania
California Adventure's newest attraction is an interactive Midway experience. As guests ride through the attraction's midway, they are challenged by the character's of Disney-Pixar's "Toy Story" to play a number of interactive 4-D games. The ride's innovative system ensures that guests will never experience exactly the same ride twice.
It's Tough to Be a Bug
It's Tough to Be a Bug combines 3-D storytelling with larger-than-life animatronics as guests are invited to discover what it's like to be a bug. As you enter the attraction, you'll receive "bug eye" glasses that turn the theater into a creepy, crawling wonderland. "A Bug's Life's" Flik leads your journey through the world of bugs. Things get complicated when Hopper, an oversized grasshopper with a bad attitude, takes the opportunity to teach the audience what it's really like to be a bug. Parents with small children and those adults with serious bug fear should take precautions when experiencing the attraction as there are some intense moments within the production.
