Beach Resorts in Cuba

Beach Resorts in Cuba
While it is not legal for United States citizens to fly directly to Cuba without prior clearance, people from other countries have been visiting this tropical paradise for years. Former Cuban President Fidel Castro always valued the economic boost that tourism provided and allowed development to proceed accordingly. However, Cuba's currency exchange practices can be onerous. Some resorts require payment to be made in the local currency, which is converted with a 10 percent surcharge.

Paradisus Princesa Del Mar

This five-star Cuban resort is on the water in Varadero Beach, the island nation's prime tourist area. Because guests must be at least 18 years old, expect a quiet time at this all-inclusive resort and spa, as well as all the modern comforts you would expect in the United States in these tropically furnished rooms. Even if you never leave the property, you won't go hungry at Paradisus Princessa Del Mar, thanks to eight restaurants, one cafeteria, and four bars to choose from. Burn off the extra calories with your choice of activities such as water bicycles, skiing and beach volleyball. The beach allows topless sunbathing so don't be shocked if you see some skin.
