Chateau Hotel Resort in the Poconos

Chateau Hotel Resort in the Poconos
The Poconos, as it refers to the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, provides an unparalleled outdoor experience for its guests. Whether you are a hiker, botanist or a water park lover, opportunities abound. The Poconos has gained its reputation as a winter attraction, and hotels such as the Chateau Resort Hotel and Conference Center offer winter recreational activities in addition to being a year-round retreat.

Recreation

The Pocono Mountains serves as the companion to the Chateau Resort Hotel and Conference Center's adult playground. The presence of Bushkill Falls, with its series of eight waterfalls and hiking trails, is a must-see for guests. Guest can also ski at Camelback Mountain or enjoy the aquatic adventures of Camelbeach Mountain Waterpark. Also, several golf courses and state parks service the resort.

Amenities

Among the list of amenities at the Chateau Resort Hotel and Conference Center are indoor and outdoor pools, a whirlpool and sauna, and a game room. Every guest room is equipped with complimentary wireless Internet access, coffee makers and safes. The resort provides several packages that include a "Ski and Stay Package." Each guest receives a free ski-lift ticket to Camelback Mountain and garden-side room accommodations. Nine meeting rooms with high-speed Internet access are perfect for your conference or meet-and-greet. A client barbecue or cocktail party can also be planned in conjunction with the property.

Dining

There is no need to step outside the doors of the resort to appease your appetite. The Mountainview Bar & Grille's American cuisine of seafood, steak, and chicken along with panoramic views of Camelback Mountain make it a trendy and desirable dining experience for guests of the resort. Room service is available in a breakfast and dinner menu that offers breakfast sandwiches, bagels, coffee, tea, pizza, fried calamari, and salad--just a short list from the menu. Not to be missed is the distinct selection of European wines and cocktails.
