Wayfarer Lodgings

Open every year from April to November, Wayfarer Lodgings is a pet-friendly seasonal retreat that offers 10 different cabins spread out over 11 acres of wooded hills. While there are no telephones or air conditioning, kitchenettes are available in several of the cottages, as are freezers and fish-cleaning tables. The beach of Lake Michigan is a 10-minute walk from the lodge, and there is a fire-pit for barbecues and roasting marshmallows. A 120-foot bluff overlooking Lake Michigan is within walking distance as well. The lodge also rents bicycles and canoes to get to town and can set up fishing charters on request.

Bayport Lodgings

Offering cottage rooms, suites, cabins and two rental homes, Bayport Lodgings has a multitude of options for your stay in Frankfort. It offers on-site parking for trailers, boats and snowmobiles and has outdoor seating areas, hammocks and picnic tables. Bayport Lodgings is one block away from Betsie Bay as well as the Betsie Valley Biking and Hiking Trail. There is also a snowmobile trail during the winter months, and Bayport is open year-round. For those interested in more conventional lodgings, there is the Best Western Scenic Hill resort in Beulah, which is eight miles away from Frankfort and 15 minutes from Crystal Mountain Ski Resort.
