With a population of just over 4,000 people, Mystic, Connecticut is a quaint seaside village located in New England. It's actually not a town in and of itself, but is within the towns of Groton, and Stonington. Once a whaling town, the area is a tourist attraction because of the Mystic Seaport, which houses the world's largest maritime museum. In terms of steakhouses, there are a few scattered in and around Mystic.

The popular Steak Loft has been awarded Connecticut Magazine's Readers Choice Award for Best Steak every year since 1983. In addition to great steak, they also have a large selection of seafood dishes as well as a large salad bar. You can choose between having just steak, seafood or order a surf, and turf entrée, combining the two.

Octagon

Located at the Mystic Marriott Hotel, Octagon restaurant is an upscale steakhouse that also has an extensive seafood menu. Pricier than the other two, you'll pay between $29 to $40 for a steak here. They also serve seasonal entrees.
