Arran's Newest 4 Star Bed and Breakfast, Mare
One of the newest additions to Arran's list of caliber properties is Mare, located in the town of Kildonan. This unique 4-star bed and breakfast, endorsed by the Scottish Tourist Board, is in fact a private home. The property owners rent out two luxurious double rooms, both with king size beds and televisions, and both complete with private bathrooms, to couples, singles or families wishing to visit the Isle of Arran. The Mare Bed and Breakfast also features a common lounge and breakfast room. The decor is simplistic yet elegant, featuring large windows, plenty of natural light and hardwood floors.
