This French restaurant features the talents of Jamaican-born Daisley Gordon, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. It is famous for its weekend brunch menu, which includes traditional breakfast food with a French flair. Poached eggs are paired with champignons mushrooms and a foie gras sauce, salmon comes served house-cured with a fennel and onion salad. Popular choices are the southwest French stew with duck confit, lamb, pork and garlic sausage and the croque-madame, which is ham and Gruyere on toast with a fried egg.

This neighborhood fish house is in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood. The menu changes quarterly and focuses on food from coastal regions worldwide. Breakfast is served from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily, however a few breakfast menu items are available all day. Popular choices are the Big Sur, a ham, avocado and tomato omelet and the Smoked Pacific Cod Hash, cooked mesquite style with red onion, garlic and aji pepper.

Hi-Spot Café

This hip restaurant was once a Victorian home on 34th Avenue. Completely renovated, it now features a delicious breakfast menu. The gigantic cinnamon rolls are popular with Seattle natives and tourists alike. During the summer months, the patio is a popular retreat. On top of breakfast foods, the Hi-Spot Café also features an array of teas, Fonte coffee and Madrona mimosas.

The Dish

The Dish is a popular café between the Ballard and Fremont neighborhoods. Its eclectic furnishings are funky and hip. Because of its occasionally loud music, it is popular among the younger crowds. The Dish boasts huge breakfast portions and a bottomless cup of coffee that is perfect after a night out on the town. The Slacker Especial, which features scrambled eggs, green chilies, Monterey Jack cheese, enchilada sauce, sour cream and salsa is a popular pick.
