Dunraven Inn

From the moment you step inside the Dunraven Inn, you will know that you are in for a unique treat. The walls are covered in Mona Lisa portraits, which is its unofficial mascot. This is Mona Lisa as you have never seen her: drinking a Coke or wearing a crazy hat. The ambience is one of humor mixed with a fine dining experience. This is an upscale restaurant that offers premium cuts of steak ranging in price from $18.75 to $40. The portions are large and include either a cup of soup or salad, with a choice of homemade dressing as well as seven different side items. The Sundeck

According to The Sundeck's website, it has been owned and operated by the Hoerner family for more than 60 years. When you walk inside, its secret of success is easily apparent. The Sundeck offers a warm, cozy setting with lots of light and just plain great food. One of its specialties is the center-cut prime rib, which is seasoned and cooked to perfection. It also offers filet mignon and New York strip. There also are great treats such as fresh-grilled trout for members of your party who may not be meat lovers. Enjoy a drink from its full bar that offers a decent wine list. If you are looking for a reasonably priced, well-kept place to stay the night, the Alpine Trail Ridge Inn is right next door.
