New Castle, Ind., is located approximately 45 miles northeast of Indianapolis, in Henry County. New Castle is home to the New Castle Fieldhouse, the largest high school auditorium in the world. New Castle and Henry County are home to many famous names, including basketball greats Steve Alford and Kent Benson, and Wilbur Wright.

New Castle is the site of the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame, New Castle Motorsports Park, and eight city parks. New Castle also offers a variety of accommodations to visitors.

Garden Inn

The Garden Inn was originally opened in 1998 and renovated in 2008. It is billed on its website as the newest hotel in New Castle. This AAA-rated hotel features rooms with king or queen beds, down-filled duvets, a spacious work space and wired high-speed Internet access. Non-smoking rooms are available. A continental breakfast and complimentary coffee and cookies are provided for all guests. Conference facilities and catering services are available.

Guests can take advantage of the indoor swimming pool at the hotel or the nearby New Castle Aquatic Center.

Raintree Inn

The Raintree Inn offers spacious guest rooms equipped with queen beds, coffee makers, cable television and wired high-speed Internet access. Wireless Internet access is available in the lobby. Steve Alford All-American Inn

The Steve Alford All-American Inn was established in October 1997. It is named for basketball star Steve Alford, who attended high school at New Castle High School. The hotel features a basketball theme in the lobby. Rooms are comfortable, and handicap-accessible rooms are available. The hotel offers free wireless Internet access and free continental breakfast. Conference facilities are also available. Hotel guests have access to a well-equipped fitness room.

The Steve Alford All-American Inn is conveniently located to all of New Castle's attractions. Located two miles off of Interstate 70, there is easy access to Indianapolis as well.
