Brazilian Restaurants in Massachusetts

Brazilian Restaurants in Massachusetts
Brazilian cuisine is extremely diverse owing to the culturally mixed history of the country. A mix of the native Indian cuisine, the African influence from Brazil's more than 300-year period of slavery, and the huge number of European and Asian immigrants in the early 1900s, it is impossible to pin down a strict definition of Brazilian food. Instead, we can think of it as many cuisines that all exist simultaneously--from fish to beef to rice and beans, from root vegetables to tropical fruit. The state of Massachusetts has many different Brazilian restaurants, mostly concentrated around the city of Boston but a few a bit farther west toward the center of the state. Most of these Brazilian restaurants classify themselves as Brazilian steakhouses or barbecues, indicating a focus on meat dishes. However, they all offer vegetarian options as well.
