Dick's Bodacious Barbecue

Located in downtown Indianapolis, Dick's Bodacious Barbecue has its roots in east Texas, as evidenced by its menu of Texas potatoes and nachos along with the very popular "Dick's Texas Feast." The feast consists of three rib bones, a beef brisket, and a smoked sausage with your choice of bread and any two sides (potato salad, green beans, ranch beans, etc). Plus, barbecue classes are offered by founder and owner Rich Allen. The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

The Capital Grille

"Be wined, dined and dazzled." This is the desire of the Capital Grille as noted on its website capitalgrille.com. The dazzling begins once you walk into the esteem of African mahogany paneling, art deco chandeliers and warm lighting. Recently, this exquisite restaurant received an "Achievement of Excellence Award" by the American Culinary Federation. With more than 5,000 bottles of wine and a menu of seafood appetizers (crab cakes, salmon, etc) to feature dishes of filet mignon or butter-poached lobster, the Capital Grille's menu is on display upon entry, courtesy of the aroma of its fine foods.

Bucca Di Peppo

Serving an Italian cuisine with recipes such as chicken carbonara with imported Italian Spaghetti, prosciutto stuffed chicken and tirimisu, Bucca Di Peppo is a multi-purpose, multi-faceted restaurant ornamented with photos of Italian-American heroes. Among them are Sophia Loren and Joe DiMaggio. The sounds of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin fill the room. It is a familiar hosting place for special events or team victory parties.
