Diamond Grille

Touted as an Akron tradition, the Diamond Grille has been family owned and operated for over six decades and is the oldest steakhouse in the city. Hidden away in a historic building with modest interiors, you'll find a fine dining experience of American cuisine. Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse

Hyde Park has 12 locations and has been serving fine aged steaks and chops since 1988. Valet parking and coat check are available. Only dinner is served at the Akron location, located 10 minutes from downtown. A romantic ambiance and art-deco interior create a delightful atmosphere for a date or special occasion. Hyde Park offers 45 wines by the glass and a martini happy hour every day. Rated "extraordinary" by Zagat guide, you will find a broad and creative menu. Appetizers include seafood choices like crispy calamari with chilies, tuna and crab cakes. Order a salad, sandwich or one of 15 steak and chop preparations. There is also a fresh fish of the day entrée and raw bar. Sides are served for two and include fresh creamed spinach. On Sunday, Hyde Park serves a prime rib special. Hyde Park is a great dinner choice after a long day of hiking.
