Noon Mark Diner is a local hot spot serving rustic but tasty cuisine. Try the broiled rainbow trout with home fries and homemade soup or the hot roast beef with gravy served atop crusty bread. For dessert indulge in one of their homemade pies like the maple walnut pie, the cheese pie or the blackberry pie. Gourmet Magazine rated the blackberry pie as "wonderful."

Lake Placid Pub and Brewery

Lake Placid Pub and Brewery serves up some of the best beer in the state in fact it was rated as the best brewery in the state by the New York Beer Festival. Start off with a tasty micro-brew and the pub style pretzels. For the main course enjoy crispy and irresistible fish and chips or the bratwurst and mash, made with locally-sourced bratwurst cooked in sweet, flavorful Moose Island Ale.

Taste Bistro and Bar

Taste Bistro and Bar is located inside the Mirror Lake Inn Resort and Spa but it doesn't taste like typical hotel food. Start off with the artisan cheese plate paired with wine or the crispy baby arugula salad. For the main course choose from the lobster risotto with a sherry cream sauce or the braised duck leg in a flavorful broth with fennel and tomatoes.
