Congers is in Rockland County, New York. It is bordered by DeForest Lake on the west and the Hudson River and Palisades Interstate Park on the east. There also two lakes in Congers itself, Congers Lake and Swartwont Lake. DeForest Lake is known as a place to go fishing for largemouth bass. The Hudson is one of the main waterways on the East Coast, running from Canada to New York City and is popular for all kinds of boating, from sail and power boats to kayaks and canoes. Palisades Interstate Park is 43 miles long and runs between New York and New Jersey with hiking trails and cross country skiing. Rick's Club American

Rick's Club American is on the northern shore of Congers Lake and just a few short blocks from the south shore of Swartwont Lake. The building has been there since 1895 and has been Rick's since 1985. The restaurant is family friendly with a special children's menu. The menu features baked low carb eggplant lasagna, baby back ribs, black Angus strip steak, baked macaroni and cheese and chicken pot pie.

Patricia's II Pizza & Pasta

Patricia's II Pizza & Pasta opened in 1998. It is located on the east shore of Congers Lake and just south of Swartwont Lake. The restaurant is casual and very family friendly. The menu features shrimp Victoria, penne pasta, veal marsala, shrimp scampi and more than 20 kinds of pizza.
