Diners rave about the minestrone soup, lasagna and flourless chocolate cake. You will not have to search for a supermarket to get snacks for tomorrow's adventure. You can buy gourmet deli items like antipasto, Italian groceries and wine from the market. Come in any day of the week for half-price drinks during happy hour, 5 to 7 p.m. Since this restaurant is always crowded, reservations are recommended.

For attractive ambience and entrees that look like miniature works of art, dine at Café Avanti in Miami, Florida. This restaurant features Italian favorites like chicken florentine, but you can also order creative Italian cuisine such as the veal scaloppini with shiitake mushrooms. The atmosphere here is casually elegant. In downtown Miami, right across the street from the Dade County Courthouse, you can find La Loggia Italian restaurant. Mouthwatering northern Italian cuisine is the specialty at this restaurant that caters mainly to tourists. Consistently delicious, customers are agog for the antipasto, lobster ravioli, chicken parmesan with fresh tomatoes and the fettuccini Alfredo. La Loggia is open from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and Fridays 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. It's closed Saturday and Sunday.
