Oradea is a small town on the northwestern border of Romania just eight miles from Hungry. The elegant city spans both shores of the Crisu Repede River and is a good base for exploring all that Romania has to offer. Oradea is home to the largest university in Eastern Europe, as well as Baile Felix, a spa resort just five minutes south of the city. It includes thermal springs, as well as treatments for rheumatism and arthritis. The city and locations nearby offer cycling or hiking paths, horseback riding and day trips that can lead to several ancient towns, and a few hours by train is the famed Dracula's Castle.
