Alum Chine is a popular family beach vacation area between Bournemouth and Poole, England. Not only are there countless water-related activities in which to participate, but there is also an extensive woodland area where you can hike to cliff tops and explore the forests. There are many hotels in the Alum Chine and Bournemouth area, varying in price range and amenities. Due to the these choices, you should be able to find a hotel that is perfectly suited for your traveling needs.

Alum Chine Hotel

The Alum Chine Hotel is a small, Edwardian-style inn located just outside of the center of Bournemouth. The owners, Trish and Kevin Lait, have been running the hotel since 1999. Every room comes equipped with a private bathroom and shower, and a full breakfast is served every morning. The hotel is surrounded by the wooded Alum Chine area, and it is five minutes from the beach.

Alum Dene Hotel

Alum Dene Hotel is a four-star bed and breakfast located in the center of Alum Chine, and it is only 200 m from the ocean. The hotel is open year-round and features amenities such as rooms with sea views, en suite facilities, beach huts and discounts for senior citizens. The hotel also welcomes dogs, for a separate fee.

Ravenstone Hotel

The Ravenstone Hotel is a small hotel located in the wooded area of Alum Chine on a side road that leads to the beach. The daily rates as of 2009 start as low as $35 for bed and breakfast, and the hotel is open year-round.
