Established in 1951, Emerald Isle represents one of the newest and more modern communities along the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Located on the western most tip of the Bogue Banks barrier island off of Morehead City, Emerald Isle offers a relaxing stay for visitors who are looking for a nice blend of sea, shore and natural amenities on the island. Indeed, nature lovers can enjoy a visit to the North Carolina Aquarium at nearby Pine Knoll Shores, a year-round facility open every day but Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day.

As one of the few hotels located within the town of Emerald Isle, the Ocean View Inn is close to restaurants, shopping and is steps from the ocean.
