Madison, located in southern Wisconsin, is the state capital and home to the University of Wisconsin. The Badgers bring in thousands of fans for home football and hockey games. Madison is also a popular destination for many bands, and it hosts an active music scene and nightlife. Over 200,000 people live in Madison. For those coming in to check out a Badgers' game, there are more than 27 hotels in the city alone.
