Newark Delaware is just north of I 95 and near the Middle Run Valley Natural Area and White Clay Creek State Park. The Middle Run Valley Natural Area has both hiking and biking trails. The park is 850 acres of forests with trails specifically for hiking and biking and multi use trails as well. White Clay Creek State Park has small ponds where you can fish for largemouth bass, bluegills, rainbow and brown trout and crappie. The park is open year round and is used for cross country skiing in the winter.
