If the abundance of red and green didn't give away that authentic Italian food is served here, Armando's menu will. The homemade garlic bread is a great start to any meal, as is an order of their calamari. The salads here are fresh, and the soups are made from scratch. As for pasta, you get the convenience of choosing among penne, ravioli, fettuccine, spaghetti, tortelloni, risotto, gnocchi, cappellini or linguini, and whatever sauce you want to top it. Both the putanesca and vodka sauces are amazing.

La Fortuna specializes in Northern Italian cuisine and Mediterranean-style bistro food. Start with bruschetta -- it is so fresh tasting. The Caesar salad here is raved over and, for your entree, at some point you must try the Chateaubriand, a tenderloin made for two, as it is exquisite - it also requires a special request to be made ahead of time, as it is a very special dish.
