Conneaut, located in the extreme Northeast corner of Ohio, is nestled against Lake Erie in the heart of the state's Lake Erie wine district. Visitors will find lakeside parks and plenty of hiking and biking trails. There are also covered bridges and a historic lighthouse to explore. However, Conneaut itself has only two hotels, these areare located along the lakeshore and off of I-90. Girard, Pennsylvania, just 15 miles away from Conneaut, across the state line, is a good alternative to staying in Conneaut itself. This small town is lined with Victorian homes and bed and breakfast inns.

The Lakefront Motel is a one-level, clean and affordable, 50s-style motel. It's ideally situated on a bluff overlooking Lake Erie and Conneaut Harbor and lighthouse. All rooms are air-conditioned and have cable TV. Refrigerators are available upon request. The motel is within walking distance to the beach and has a boat ramp directly across the street. There is also a lakeside picnic area on the property. Although the motel does not have a restaurant, there are several places to eat within walking distance.
