Hotels Near Hazyview, South Africa
Hazyview, in South Africa's Mpumalanga province, is awash not only in the haze of heat rising from the surrounding African bush, but in the prosperity of being the gateway to Kruger National Park. Outdoor lovers staying at hotels near Hazyview will have as much adventure as they can handle. Hiking or river rafting through the Sabie River Valley, hot air ballooning, and quad biking all take a back seat to the big game viewing safaris that provide close encounters with Kruger's hundreds of mammal, bird, reptile and insect species.

Cybele Forest Lodge and Health Spa

At a 3000-foot altitude about halfway between Hazyview and White River, the high-end Cybele Forest Lodge and Health Spa spares its guests the worst of Mpumalanga's summer heat. The Lodge is surrounded by a garden fragrant with the scent of flowering trees, where guests can watch wild monkeys swing from branch to branch.

Each unit is screened from its neighbors, with a private garden, satellite TV, DVD player and/or VCR, iron and ironing board, bath gowns, and the latest magazines. All guests have access to the heated main swimming pool. Bath time is made more luxurious with Charlotte Rhys toiletries and heated towel racks. Suites have private heated pools with sun beds and umbrellas.

The courtyard Spa has three treatment rooms, an open-air Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, and outdoor showers. The Lodge welcomes children 10 and older.
