Bistecca Steakhouse and Wine Bar
The staff here is on top of their game, the table settings are impeccably clean and the food is very good. Be sure to try the gnocchi, as it is delicious. Also good are the New York strip and salmon dishes. Private dining areas are available for large parties by reservation, and some tables offer a view of the adjoining racetrack.

Outback Steakhouse
You can't go wrong with a chain such as Outback. Although it is no fine-dining experience, the quality of the meats is high and the prices are affordable. The Caesar salads here make a nice start to any meal with a sort of peppery taste to the dressing. If you're willing to risk the calories, order the Aussie cheese fries to start--fries topped with cheese, bacon and spicy ranch dressing to dip them in. With reasonable prices, you can take the whole family out for a steak dinner without breaking the bank.

Texas Roadhouse
Another restaurant you can bring the kids to is Texas Roadhouse. Every Tuesday night kids under 10 years old can eat for 99 cents. The porterhouse steak is a good bet here, as are the fall-off-the-bone ribs.
