A few blocks from Shadyside's trendy Walnut Street shopping district is the Sunnyledge Hotel. Frick Park is located a short walk from the glitz of the Walnut Street shops. There are several miles of mixed-use trails that wind through the 561 acres of the park. The trails in Frick Park are a mainstay for mountain bikers. The hilly topography provides for thrilling downhill rides and uphill climbs. The many streams that curve through the park raise the technical difficulty of the trails. The Sunnyledge Hotel is a boutique hotel that was built in 1888. Each of the eight rooms features king beds, marble bathrooms and Jacuzzi tubs.
