Coal Tower Restaurant
The Coal Tower Restaurant's present-day location was originally used as a coal storage harbor for boats plying the Erie Canal route during the 1900s. Ted Collins bought the property from the Schoen family in 1967, and eventually converted it into a commercial center. The Coal Tower Restaurant was part of this vision, and was opened in 1976. The restaurant boasts a broad menu that appeals to all kinds of visitors at the Schoen Place commercial center. The menu is divided into seven categories: breakfast, appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, house specials, dinner entrees and the kids' menu.
