Coppertop Tavern
Opened in November 2009, the Coppertop Tavern's concept is an upscale pub. The menu features sandwiches, hamburgers and pastas. Single-serve, fresh-dough pizzas are baked in a stone hearth oven, with more than 15 combinations on the menu. The bar area features LCD televisions, a wide variety of domestic and imported beers and an actual copper-top bar.

Tully's Good Times
Owned by the same family as the Coppertop Tavern, Tully's is a regional chain of family-friendly sports bars. Its signature offering are chicken tenders--chicken breast tenders, which are breaded and fried. The Fairmount location has more than 100 televisions tuned to various cable and satellite sports channels. The building's walls are lined with sports magazine covers and memorabilia, while tabletops have sports cards lacquered. It is a popular choice for families and the building draws a large crowd for televised Syracuse University football and men's basketball games.

Nestico's Too
Another family-owned restaurant, Nestico's Too borrows its name from its sister restaurant in north Syracuse. Nestico's Too is open for breakfast and lunch daily, serving a menu of eggs, pancakes, waffles and French toast for breakfast, and sandwiches and pastas for lunch. Nestico's Too also serves a traditional frittata--broccoli, peppers, sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, onions and eggs.

Gino's Steaks
Gino's Steaks borrows its name and menu from the Philadelphia landmark Geno's Steaks. The menu features a wide array of the chopped steak sandwiches known as Philly steak sandwiches. The menu offers Cheez Whiz, along with American, Swiss, provolone and mozzarella cheeses. Chicken sandwiches and fried foods round out the menu. The restaurant has limited seating and offers take-out.
