Hotels in Christchurch, NZ
Christchurch is a great place to wind down from the adrenaline built up while visiting the rest of the South Island. The city constantly reminds the traveler of New Zealand's British heritage. Though Christchurch is famous for its city center and architecture, there is still plenty to do outdoors, including day hikes, cycling and canoeing.

Thomas's Hotel

Thomas's Hotel is a budget option located on Hereford just half a block from the Botanic Gardens and three blocks from Hagley Park, two prime spots for urban outdoor adventure. The "Economy" rooms are ideal for families, as they fit up to four people for a low price, though they have only partial bathrooms (only a shower and a sink). Only the deluxe rooms have heaters and in-room bathrooms.
