Verona is a town in New York's Oneida County with a population of approximately 6,500, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. The town borders Oneida Lake's eastern shore, which is the largest lake found fully within New York's state borders. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy a number of recreational activities at the lake by visiting the Verona Beach State Park, such as fishing, camping, hiking and biking in the summer, or ice-fishing, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling in the winter.
