This ivy-covered, gray stone hotel offers some of the most spectacular views in north Yorkshire. What used to be an old country house has been converted into a unique hotel where no two rooms are the same. All rooms at Mallyan Spout Hotel have en-suite bathrooms, flat screen TVs with satellite/cable, tea- and coffee-making facilities and free Wi-Fi. The rooms are spacious and have lots of light. Grinkle Park Hotel, Skinning (Whitby)

Just a few minutes outside Whitby, Grinkle Park Hotel has 20 rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms.
