Located just next to Mission Valley, Thai Time II offers guests a relaxed atmosphere and reasonable prices. Those who are fans of hot and spicy food will feel especially at home, as this is the restaurant's unique specialty. Thai Time II presents a full authentic Thai menu with regular staples such as curries, poultry and ham dishes. Guests can dine in or take out. Saffron San Diego
Located a few miles east of Mission Valley, is the Saffron Restaurant. Opened in 1985, Saffron was the first Thai restaurant in the area. Owned by Su-Mei Yu, the owner has received the coveted "Restauranteur of the Year" award in both 2001 and 2002 by the San Diego Home and Garden Magazine.
The food is both reasonably priced and changes with the season, offering a different menu several times a year. The restaurant offers a children's menu as well as daily and everyday specials, ranging from $2 to $10. In addition, any meal can be made vegan or vegetarian upon request. The restaurant also offers caters for parties as few as five and up to several hundred guests.
