India Palace

Renowned for its Mughalai and Tandoori dishes, India Palace serves up a wide selection of entrees and appetizers, such as vegetable, chicken, and paneer pakoras, kebabs, and curries. All dishes on the menu can be made mild, medium, hot or "authentically hot." There is also a vegetarian specialty menu for those who don't eat meat. Meals at India Palace are made using fresh produce and corn oil, with no MSG or preservatives. The restaurant is located right next to Canby Park West and a half mile from Banning Park, a large urban park that contains two ponds, baseball and soccer fields, and eight tennis courts.

Palace of Asia

With ornately decorated dining rooms, inspired by the design of India's royal courts, the Palace of Asia is one of Wilmington's most distinctive Indian restaurants. The menu features the best in traditional Indian fare, including traditional soups and pakoras, a large entrée selection with vegetarian options, desserts, and a small American menu. The Palace of Asia is located right by Albertson Park and just a mile from Powell Ford Park.

Himalaya Indian Restaurant

Just west of downtown Wilmington, in Newark, Himalaya Indian Restaurant is situated at the edge of Middle Run Valley Natural Area, which features multiple single-route biking trails and hiking and walking paths. Himalaya Indian Restaurant serves up "home-style" northern and southern Indian cuisine, with samosas, pakoras, naan bread, and a variety of chicken, goat, lamb, seafood, and vegetarian dishes. There is a selection of tandoori dishes on the menu, and a buffet is offered each day for lunch and for dinner on Fridays and Saturdays.
