Chai's Thai
Chai's is a tiny, well-hidden secret in the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood, near the University of Minnesota campus. Most dishes cost less than $12. Chai's offers Thai staples like Pad Thai and Pad Kee Mow. The quality, and presentation of the dishes are equal to restaurants that charge twice the price. The seafood is cooked to perfection, especially the shrimp and squid. Always ask for the specials. In the summer, this could mean fresh fish, and in the fall this could be warm curry served in a pumpkin. For dessert, be sure to try the green tea ice cream.
