Noah's Restaurant

Connecticut Magazine refers to Noah's Restaurant as "Stonington's best kept secret, hidden in plain sight in the center of town." One of the oldest restaurants in town, Noah's offers "slow scratch" cooking with flair and distinction, using local fish, tomatoes, wine, and other locally grown ingredients. Breakfast and lunch prices are under $10, and a three-course dinner ranges from $20 to $30. Noah's boasts an on-site bakery that has produced more than fifty different types of bread. Casual atmosphere. Closed on Mondays.

Dog Watch Café

Overlooking Dodson Boatyard, this casual seaside venue offers live music on weekends and frequently sponsor benefit events for local charities. This café is a perfect place to enjoy good food and dazzling sunsets simultaneously. The Dog Watch Café website offers a football pool, newsletter, and event calendar. Appetizers range from $7 to $13. Soups and salads are $3.50 to $16. Seafood dishes range from $17 to $25, and "Turf" dishes run $15 to $21. Burgers, sandwiches, pizzas and pasta round out the menu. Open seven days a week.

Skipper's Dock Seafood Restaurant

The setting is a 600-foot pier over Stonington harbor, with views of both Long Island Sound and the Atlantic Ocean. On Sundays, Skipper's Dock features a Dixieland Jazz Brunch from 2p.m. to 6 p.m.
Prices start at $10 for lunch to peak at $27 for their Bouillabaisse Harborview---a mix of local seafood, lobster. shrimp. scallops in a tomato-fennel-saffron broth. Closed on Tuesdays during the winter, as well the entire month of January.
