Portofino

Portofino is a classic Philadelphia Italian restaurant that has been serving up the real goods from its theater district location for more than 35 years. The menu features traditional Italian items such as the Fettuccine Abruzzese, as well as modern dishes that are often created out of local seafood items such as the Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes. The wine list features Italian and Californian wines. Portofino restaurant is open for lunch Monday through Friday and dinner seven days a week.

Sotto Varalli

Sotto Varalli is a two-story Italian restaurant on Broad Street, otherwise known as the "Avenue of the Arts" and is directly across the street from the Academy of Music. The menu at Sotto Varelli's is classic Italian with a heavy emphasis on seafood dishes, such as the signature seafood risotto. Both the upstairs and downstairs dining rooms have private rooms available for groups and parties. Soto Varalli is open for dinner only, seven days a week.

D'Angelo's Ristorante Italiano

D'Angelo's Ristorante Italiano is a family-owned and operated Italian restaurant on Philadelphia's main nightlife strip, South Street. The menu features a wide selection of beef, chicken, lamb and veal dishes prepared in classic Italian style as well as an extensive pasta list. After the dinner hours are completed the restaurant turns into a popular disco where Frank Sinatra tunes are played right alongside R&B and Salsa. D'Angelo's Ristorante Italiano is open for lunch Monday through Friday and dinner from Monday through Saturday and stays open till 2 in the morning on Saturday night.
